Grant
Family Documents(abt 1750-1900) Beginning with Mathew Grant in the mid 17th century, the Grant family and the Grant Mansion on Main Street have continued to be important to South Windsor. Our archives contain nine business ledgers of Ebenezer Grant, Roswell Grant and Thomas Mickell dated from about 1750 through about 1820. Also in our possession is an abstract manuscript taken from these and other Grant documents. "The Grant Mansion", written by Frances Judd, a descendant of the Grants. We have prepared an index of names mentioned in the Judd work to assist researchers. |
